Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, Senetas
At this year’s International Cyber Expo, I was encouraged to see how fast the conversation around quantum security is evolving. At the Senetas booth, one question kept coming up: “Where do we start with quantum-safe implementation?”
That sense of urgency—future-proofing encryption and securing sovereign data—was shared across industries, from defence to critical infrastructure.
A clear pattern is emerging:
- Quantum-safe readiness is no longer theoretical—it’s an active priority.
- Sovereign infrastructure and cyber control are returning to focus, as many organisations rethink cloud reliance.
- And yes, even the booth opposite offering massages seemed fitting—cybersecurity stress is real!
Across the Global Cyber Summit and Tech Hub sessions, key themes stood out:
- Collaboration and intelligence sharing
- Managing AI and quantum-era risks
- Building resilience and tackling the cybersecurity skills gap
The event reinforced that the future of cybersecurity will belong to those who can combine sovereignty, quantum safety, and practical resilience.
Proud of the Senetas team for leading these conversations—and of the global community for engaging with the challenges that will define the next decade of security. You can view a recap of the event here: Senetas at 2025 International Cyber Expo, London or dive into the presentation I held here.
