Senetas is pleased to announce a new technology partnership with ADVA – a leading provider of optical networking solutions for the delivery of cloud and mobile services.

This agreement will see Senetas’ high-speed networking encryption technology integrated with ADVA’s industry-leading virtualisation technology, Ensemble Connector. ADVA’s virtualised solution has been named Ensemble Connect Guard.

“The resulting commercial and technology partnership allows for the deployment of
state of the art encryption services to tens of thousands of users at the flick of a switch.
The cost savings to customers can be massive and the business opportunity is therefore
substantial.”  Andrew Wilson, CEO, Senetas

ADVA’s proprietary Ensemble Optical Networking technology offers simplified management and networking efficiencies; it allows for the deployment of state of the art encryption services to tens of thousands of users at the flick of a switch under an easily managed infrastructure technology.

Through the integration of Senetas’ virtual encryption engine with ADVA’s Ensemble suite, the companies have created a disruptive solution for site-to-site and site-to-cloud encrypted VPNs. The benefits for customers are wide-ranging; along with minimum latency and network overheads, there is a significant cost saving potential.

“ADVA is very excited about the opportunity to work with a world leader in multi-accredited cyber security… We are eager to bring this solution to our service provider customers and enterprise-focused resellers, as well as to the market places of the large public cloud providers.”  James Buchanan, General Manager, ADVA Ensemble Division
