The quantum-safe deadline just moved forward again.
The Australian Signals Directorate wants organisations to refine their post-quantum cryptography (PQC) transition plans by the end of 2026 and complete migration by the end of 2030 — one of the most aggressive timelines globally, with the EU, UK, US and France setting their own deadlines close behind.
Stockhead’s latest feature looks at what’s driving the urgency (Quantinuum‘s US$1.68bn IPO, Microsoft accelerating its own PQC roadmap) and where Senetas fits: our network encryption platform is already PQC-ready, having deployed the latest NIST-selected algorithms, and is distributed through Thales Cybersecurity Products across 60+ countries.
It also covers our recent ~US$1.7M government contract in South America —our largest transaction to date on our ruggedized encryptors.
