Senetas at NATO Edge 26: Resilient, quantum-safe communications for the Alliance
Senetas will be at NATO Edge 26 in İzmir, Türkiye, from 17–19 November. The event brings together NATO, Allies and industry to accelerate capability delivery and strengthen defence readiness. More than 2,000 attendees and 270 exhibitors are expected, representing 32 Allies.
Secure, resilient communications are fundamental to modern defence operations. As networks become more interconnected and threats evolve, organisations need encryption that protects sensitive data today and can adapt as requirements change.
The post-quantum timeline is now set
NIST has just finalised its roadmap for the move to post-quantum cryptography. Quantum-vulnerable public-key algorithms will be deprecated after 2030 and disallowed after 2035. NIST also notes that past cryptographic transitions have taken 10 to 20 years.
Across 32 Allies, that transition won’t happen all at once. Old and new algorithms will run side by side for years, and networks must keep working together throughout. That makes agility as important as the algorithms themselves.
Senetas network encryptors support the NIST post-quantum standards today. They are upgraded in the field as standards and threats change, not replaced. They are resilient today and upgradable for whatever comes next.
