Security Certifications
FIPS 140-3
TheĀ Federal Information Processing Standard Publication 140-3Ā (FIPS PUB 140-3) is aĀ U.S.Ā governmentĀ computer securityĀ standardĀ used to approveĀ cryptographic modules. FIPS 140 is a set of standards from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) that ensures cryptography modules used by the U.S. government and other industries are secure and reliable for protecting sensitive information.

Common Criteria
The Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation (referred to as Common Criteria or CC) is an international standard (ISO/IEC 15408) that certifies the security of computer systems. It provides a framework for evaluating security features and ensuring they meet specific requirements.

NIAP -Protection Profile
National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) oversees a national program to evaluate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Information Technology (IT) products for conformance to the international Common Criteria. This program includes the NIAP-managed Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS or Scheme), a national program for developing Protection Profile (PP), evaluation methodologies, and policies that ensures achievable, repeatable, and testable security requirements.
IT security testing is conducted by NIST-accredited and NIAP-approved commercial testing labs.

National Trusted Cryptographic Product (PKTN) – Malaysia
The National Cryptography Policy (NCP) is an initiative by the Malaysian Government to strengthen its Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII). Central to this strategy is the PKTN (Produk Kriptografi Terpercaya Negara or National Trusted Cryptographic Product), a framework designed to ensure the security, reliability, and appropriateness of cryptographic products used within the nationās most sensitive sectors.
