Quantum Cryptography

Senetas has been an early adopter of post-quantum cryptography. As far back as 2007, Senetas introduced the world’s first quantum-powered encryptor, in partnership with European quantum powerhouse ID Quantique. Crypto agility is a core component of our CypherNET encryptor range. The CN Series of hardware encryption devices is compatible with external sources of entropy, which include quantum random number generators.

More recently, Senetas introduced hybrid encryption to the CypherNET range – enabling users to not only benefit from proven, classical AES256bit algorithms but also the NIST shortlisted quantum resistant algorithms. This ensures future-proof security and paves the way for users to migrate to a quantum resilient stance.
