Course description

This course will give students advanced Tivoli Access Manager for e-business customization experience. In this 50% hands-on instructor-led course, students will customize the external authentication interface, tune Tivoli Access Manager for improved performance, and integrate Tivoli Access Manager into a J2EE application framework.

After taking this course, the student will be able to:

• Create and manage authorization rules to customize access control
• Implement step-up authentication to control the method used to access a protected resource
• Describe performance tuning for Tivoli Access Manager
• Customize external authentication interface (EAI) to supply custom authenticated identity information to WebSEAL
• Develop custom login pages for each junction to tailor the user experience
• Integrate Tivoli Access Manager into a J2EE application framework such as WebSphere.
