IBM Tivoli Monitoring manages the IT infrastructure including operating systems, databases and servers across distributed and host environments through a single customizable workspace portal.

Through a balance of lectures and hands-on lab exercises, you learn how to administer your IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM) 6.2 environment. You map the architecture of key components and the flow of event data through the architecture. You set user access parameters to manage who sees various workspaces. You personalize workspaces to provide the key information required by various operators. You learn how to program automated responses to events, thus saving time.
